This November you have the opportunity to make a difference through on of our most treasured freedoms - the right to vote. Let your voice be heard in this historic election!

Not only will you be able to vote for the next President, but you will also have the opportunity to vote for Ohio's Representatives and Senators to the US Congress and the Ohio General Assembly. In addition, you will have the opportunity to vote for other State and County positions as well as other issues on the ballot. You can download a list of candidates in Northeast Ohio here.

Register to Vote...you might make history

In order to vote in November, you need to be registered with your local Board of Elections. If you have not register to vote or you need to re-register to vote, simply fill out a Registration Form and mail it to your local Board of Elections. You can obtain the Registration Form by visiting your local Board of Election online or in person. There is a list of Northeast Ohio Board of Elections at the bottom of the page, if your Board of Election is not list below, visit the Secretary of State's Board of Elections Directory for contact information of your Board of Elections.

Some Important Reminders -

  • You need to be registered more than 30 days prior to an election to be eligible to vote. For the November 4th election, you need to be registered prior to October 6th.
  • If you have moved or changed your name since you last registered, you need to re-register to vote. To re-register simply fill out a registration form with your current information and mail it to you Board of Elections.

Now in Ohio anyone can vote early by mail. To request an Vote by Mail ballot, visit you Board of Elections online or in person. There is a list of Northeast Ohio Board of Elections at the bottom of the page, if your Board of Election is not list below, visit the Secretary of State's Board of Elections Directory for contact information of your Board of Elections. meet with candidates for elected office and find out how they feel about important
issues like mental health.

Poll Worker Information

Serve your community on Election Day!

Across Ohio, the Boards of Elections in all 88 counties are constantly recruiting poll
workers to work the day of an election. You can serve your community while making
a little extra cash!

The need for poll workers is particularly great in Cuyahoga County. The following
